Rubber City Royalty is a series of photos featuring drag queens and kings of Akron, Ohio. I wanted to capture the essence of a drag show, exhibiting the performance, movement, energy, and sexuality of the drag scene in the Rubber City.
The shots were taken between January, 1st, 2011 through May 5th, 2011.
The following shots are of my friend Christina. With these I was trying to capture the rawness of the goth scene, and the preparation that goes into it.
